a. our employees, agents and/or professional advisors, mentors, assessors and other training venues under the North Tees Centre - to obtain training progress feedback to enhance individual (s) knowledge and competency and to improve departmental / trust training.;

Keeping Data secure

12. We will use technical and organisational measures to safeguard your Data, for example:

a. access to your pseudonymised results is controlled by a password that is unique to each cohort - all personal date has been removed from results list and each candidate identifiable via a pseudonymised ID (North Tees candidate number) provided via the North Tees Centre.

b. we store your Data on secure servers within the Trust AND:

Our [North Tees Centre] training services as hosted on the Wix.com platform. Wix.com provides us with the online platform that allows us to sell and support our services to you. Your data may be stored through Wix.com’s data storage, databases and the general Wix.com applications. They store your data on secure servers behind a firewall. 

All direct payment gateways offered by Wix.com and by the North Tees Centre adhere to the standards set by PCI-DSS as managed by the PCI Security Standards Council, which is a joint effort of brands like Visa, MasterCard, American Express and Discover. PCI-DSS requirements help ensure the secure handling of credit card information by our store and its service providers.

E-portfolios

22. Dropbox software (including mobile apps) is used by candidates, mentors and assessors to share and access evidence for the e-portfolio. The use of drobox is deemed to be GDPR compliant for e-portfolios (following local data protection risk assessment) when using the following processes [and controls]:

 

a. To provide further security to all our candidate’s evidence data, access to individual e-portfolios is now restricted between the following 3rd parties:

 

Individual e-portfolios:

​Candidate.

Assessor (access link will automatically be sent to you once candidate allocated).

 

 

Cohort (all candidates e-portfolios):

​North Tees Centre.

NAFD external verifier (external verifiers will be sent access to entire cohorts e-portfolios).

 

b.  All candidates must ensure that portfolio evidence meets the evidence criteria contained on this web site - evidence MUST NOT contain any identifiable information, without express documented permission and consent, relating to:

- Patients (including deceased)

- Family, and next of kin or relatives that are related to the patients (including deceased)

- 3rd party organisations (e.g. coroners, police etc.)

- Other trust / departmental staff members

 

c. All candidate evidence must be checked and countersigned by work place mentor before electronic submission.

 

d.  Assessors will check all evidence and are to inform / notify North Tees and / or the candidate directly if they notice any confidential and / or patient identifiable information in any e-portfolios (or paper versions) to ensure that such data is removed and /or anonymised.

 

e. The North Tees Centre will perform random checks of candidate’s evidence and may delete any evidence (without prior warning) that it deems to contain any sensitive, confidential or identifiable information.

 

North Tess accepts no responsibility for any data / confidentially breaches pertaining to the candidate’s personal submission of evidence, if any of the above control measures have not been followed.

Changes of business ownership and control

23. Frontline Funeral Service Operations Training may, from time to time, expand or reduce our business and this may involve the transfer of control of all or part of the training we offer to other Venues or Centres.
