It’s good to have you here! Feel free to share anything - ideas, questions or whatever is on your mind. This forum will be available throughout your training with us.
We will use this forum to send you messages from the North Tees Centre – if you click on the ‘follow’ button on the forum main page for your specific cohort then you will receive any updates from us direct to you via email.

First of all, 2 key dates to remember:
19/05/22 - this will be your first online session with us - the timetable for this day is available in your cohort’s password protected area (your cohort password has been sent with your course joining instructions).
26/05/22 – this is your second online session with us and will continue on from the first session – again the timetable for this day is available in your cohort’s password protected area.
You will need IT access (e.g., mobile device or laptop) for these online training sessions that will run from 10am to approx. 4pm each day. You do not need a camera to access our zoom meetings (just headphones /speaker so that you can hear me).
The zoom meeting room ID can also be found in your cohort’s password protected area - this zoom meeting ID number will not change. When starting zoom for the first time please click the 'Join a meeting' and then enter your cohorts 10-digit unique number starting with 704 xxx xxxx.
Your first online session will also contain information about how to use the online learning material and web site navigation, so please do not worry if you are still unsure about what to do and what is expected - I will explain everything on your first session with me.
Please contact us (use the link at the bottom of this web page) if you have not yet received your joining instructions – all joining instruction will usually be sent approx. 2 weeks from the date of application.
Your work-based mentors / managers may also have access to this forum (please inform them) so that they are kept up to date of any changes as well!
I look forward to meeting you soon,
Kind regards,
Darren Makin
Hi Victoria,
We normally say 6 months to submit module assignments (so that we can mark it in a timely fashion) - but in your case I am happy for this to overrun if you are not able to get it done by the 19th.
Kind regards,
Darren
Good Morning Darren,
I am working through the modules slowly. Its my understanding that there isnt a certain amount of modules needed to be completed by the 19th - is this correct :)
Thank you
Victoria
